About Heartland School of the Violin

Students at the Heartland School of the Violin participate in numerous activities and performances through-out the year.  All students perform in the solo recitals in February as well as in the group concert in May.  Additionally, students are involved in community out-reach performances, master-class workshops, a bi-annual music carnival, restaurant entertainment, parties, tours to other communities, and senior recitals.

Parental involvement, daily listening to repertoire, weekly private lessons, daily student practice, active group participation, and an environment of positive encouragement are elements which contribute to the program's success.
